CIRCUITS

In 1947, some farmers in the Church started forming smaller societies within the Circuit as a way of encouraging others who came from far to join them in worship. They then started putting up chapels to host the congregants. Otaakrom and Anwiafutu were the pacesetters in this regard.

Those in Nyinahin, Adiembra, Agogoso, Akatansu, Kyekyewere, Antwi- Agyeikrom, Kansakrom, Debra Camp, Wansamire and Sreso- Tinpom also gathered themselves in subsequent years. Other societies like Kuffour Camp, Donkoto, Pamuruso, Aboabogya, Mantukwa, Ahyiresu, K.D. Sreso, Bethelehem, Akrabourkrom, Kyereyaaso, Naagode, Adupri and Amangoae also followed in that order. Akotaa and Kyemekrom were later added to the societies making them a total of twenty seven(27).
These societies formed a big Nyinahin section under Mpasatia Circuit under the pastorial oversight of Rev. Quarshie. It must be added that he (Rev. Quarshie) was the first superintendent minister to head the circuit.
Ahyirasu under Bibiani Circuit (Western Region) opted to join Mpasatia Circuit as the society is located in the Ashanti Region. The issue was discussed and accepted at the quarterly meeting.
Nyinahin section was then created and the first Catechist that took care of the flock was Master E.D. Boakye who was later succeeded by Kwaku Num. These catechists were all staying in a rented apartment because Nyinahin did not have a mission house till late 1980.

The Church at Otaakrom did well to build a mission house which was able to host Master Adom for a temporal stay. Master Num stayed in Nyinahin for a while before going on retirement. It was later in the 1990's that Nyainahin built a mission house to absord the incoming Catechist and ministers who were still working under Mpasatia Circuit.

Expanded General Purposes Council (G.P.C) acting on behalf of Conference granted the Kumasi Diocese request for Nyinahin to become a circuit in 2013 under the leadership of the then Diocesan Bishop, Rt. Rev. Prof. Osei Safo- Kantanka.
